Built-in LED light for brighter shots

LIT HERO is the first GoPro with a built-in front-facing light, giving you extra illumination whenever the scene needs it. Use the integrated LED light for low-light clips, indoor content, night shots, close-up filming, DIY projects, inspection-style footage and creative moments where a normal action camera needs more light.

The LED light has three brightness settings, low, medium and high, so you can match the light to the scene. The included Light Diffuser helps create softer, more even lighting with fewer harsh shadows and hotspots. The light can even be used when the camera is off or plugged in and charging, making LIT HERO a practical tool beyond action footage.

4K video, 4K60 Slo-Mo and 12MP photos

LIT HERO records 4K30/25 video in both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, giving you clean footage for phones, TVs, YouTube and social content. The 4:3 mode captures a taller field of view for more immersive shots and gives you extra framing flexibility when cropping for vertical platforms.

Switch to 4K60/50 Slo-Mo for smoother motion and 2x slow-motion playback. This is perfect for sports, pets, kids, biking, skating, travel clips, water action and fast everyday moments. For stills, LIT HERO captures 12MP photos, and the GoPro Quik app can pull up to 11MP frame grabs from your videos.
