MAX2 replaceable lenses will save the camera from permanent lens damage, whether it's mounted on a selfie stick, attached to a helmet, or extended off the back of a motorcycle. The MAX2 lenses are easy to remove and replace by hand, out in-the-field. No special lens calibrations needed. Just swap them out in a couple minutes by hand, and keep on shooting! The lenses are made from hardened, high-clarity glass that delivers exceptional optical performance, optimal light transmission, and remarkable durability. MAX2’s dedicated POV mode is actually 360 video, and leverages both lenses for a “wide-as-you-want” (greater than 180 degrees) view of your activity, captured in 8K! Plus, you have the added benefit of perfect stabilization, which makes POV footage shot on MAX2 that much more immersive to watch. MAX2’s POV mode tells the Quik app to present these POV videos to you, in the right way, with minimal or no editing necessary. It’s always a 360 video so you can still create any view you want in the Quik app later. MAX2 also shoots high-resolution 4K60 single-lens video, and with the Max HyperView digital lens, can capture POV footage with an incredible 180° field-of-view that really enhances the sense of speed. GoPro Labs is an always-on beta program that extends camera capabilities beyond the stock firmware features, allowing full control for every dial, switch, gauge in a GoPro camera. Try new, experimental features that are not yet ready for prime-time in the production GoPro cameras. It is especially useful in situations where settings can’t be communicated via voice, where WiFi is not available, where app pairing is not established, or in advanced setups, such as multiple cameras time synchronization or delayed camera triggers.
